TOWN OF DAYTON, Wis. — One person is dead — another is hurt — following a crash in Waupaca County.
A minivan reportedly struck a pickup truck at the intersection of State Highway 22 and Old Highway 22 in the town of Dayton just after 10 a.m. Sunday.
The 70-year-old Grand Chute man driving the van was pronounced dead at the scene. The 65-year-old Grand Chute woman riding with him was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The 45-year-old Almond woman operating the truck, along with five children riding with her, were not hurt.
