A health clinic in downtown Appleton could be affected by U.S. Venture’s proposed new headquarters.
Mosaic Family Health is part of the identified site for the nearly $50 million project. But Mayor Tim Hanna says the clinic property isn’t part of the footprint for the office building, or the underground parking ramp.
ThedaCare and Ascension Health are the joint owners of the clinic, and it’s partially used to train new doctors.
Hanna says city staffers have been talking with both health care providers, and other developers, to find a different location. He says they’re honing in on some solutions.
Hanna hopes they have some of answers in about a month.
U.S. Venture announced its plans this week to build on what’s called the “bluff site.”
