An Appleton East High School teacher resigned in the wake of last month’s incident in the weight room.
Police say the 48-year-old man got into an argument with a student, during a workout on January 23. They say the teacher grabbed and pushed the student.
Police were recommending a disorderly conduct charge, and the district put the man on leave. The school board accepted his resignation this week.
