People have a chance to learn more about the proposed library project in downtown Appleton tonight.
The city is hosting an open house at the current library from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The plans call for the library to be part of a mixed-use building on the site of the Soldiers Square ramp.
City spokesman Chad Doran says Mayor Tim Hanna and the developer will make presentations at 6:30 p.m. He says they’ll also have a question and answer session.
The eight-story building would also have about 100 condos or apartments, and retail space.
