It’s now been nearly six months since a young Appleton woman was found dead and police haven’t provided much information about the case yet.
Twenty-year-old Caitlyn Xiong was reported missing in early October and her body was pulled from the Fox River by Heesakker Park in Little Chute on October 14th. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s office handled the autopsy and turned in the report to Appleton police late last December.
Police haven’t said if they believe foul play was involved.
Xiong was last seen early in the morning on October 5th. Police say they checked her phone and bank records and there wasn’t any activity.
