Volunteers are packing food for the needy in northeast Wisconsin today in Oshkosh.
Oshkosh Corporation is holding its second annual Feed the Body, Feed the Soul event.
Company spokeswoman Katie Hoxtell says last year they packed rice, but this year they’re also adding pasta and beans. She says they hope about 900 people will pitch in at Menominee Nation Arena, and anyone is welcome to help.
Hoxtell says they’ll be working until 11 p.m.
She says the food will help feed people in 18 counties for a year.
