Governor Scott Walker stopped by EAA AirVenture this afternoon.
Walker says the event is a great chance to show off the state’s tourism, aviation, and aerospace industries. Walker also answered some questions about things like federal aid for state farmers affected by tariffs and the possible Kimberly-Clark tax incentive deal.
Walker says they aren’t making similar offers to just anyone. He says it’s a core industry for the state. He says paper and paper products are part of the state future. He says he hopes a deal similar to the one for the Milwaukee Bucks stadium will come into play.
Walker says he’s talking to the senate and hopes they can create a package that receives bipartisan support.
