Retired swimmer Michael Phelps says a lot of the causes the event supports go hand-in-hand with what his foundation does. He says mental health is very important to him. He says he’s trying to de-stigmatize it as much as he can.
Phelps won 23 gold medals in four Olympic games and 28 medals overall. He says being able to save a life is much more important than being able to win a gold medal.
