Developers of the Eagle Point site along the Fox River in Appleton are planning the next phase.
They already built senior apartments and an assisted living facility on the site of the former Foremost Dairy Plant below the College Avenue Bridge.
Colin Cassidy is with The Alexander Company. He says they’re looking to build 10 townhouse units just to the north of the existing building. He says it would be aimed toward seniors with more independence.
Cassidy says they’re looking to have two buildings for the townhouses with five units in each one. He says they’ll eventually build a third phase on the site of an existing parking lot but they haven’t determined what will be included yet. The development also includes a riverfront trail that’s open to the public.
The Alexander Company hosted an open house for the first phase of the project just over a week ago.
