Voters in the Fox Valley are tuned in to the November elections, as well as two important legislative issues. They are watching the State Senate in hopes to see a tax incentive bill passed on Nov 12 to save 500 jobs in Fox Crossing, and hoping that another bill will close the “dark store loophole” to avoid a tax shift onto residential property tax payers.
State Senate Minority Leader Jennifer Shilling shared her perspective on why those bills did not pass the State Senate in the previous session, and Democrats’ outlook for retaking the State Senate in November.
