A Republican from Fond du Lac is the new Assistant Senate Majority Leader.
GOP members elected Sen. Dan Feyen to the position today.
Outgoing Senator Leah Vukmir held that job. She gave up her seat for what ended up being an unsuccessful run for U.S. Senate.
Feyen is serving his first term in the Senate, representing a district that includes Oshkosh and the southern half of Winnebago County. He was elected in 2016.
