Democratic Governor-elect Tony Evers is criticizing Governor Walker for putting about 80 last-minute appointments into the lame-duck session.
The Senate approved them yesterday afternoon. Evers sent a letter to the governor accusing Walker of “jamming” through the appointees including two members of the UW System’s Board of Regents.
Evers says they haven’t been fully vetted and some haven’t filed the required statements of economic interest.
