The leader of Neenah is calling Governor Walker ingenious and clever.
Mayor Dean Kaufert is talking about Walker’s plan not to move ahead with the bills approved by the Legislature until they come up with a deal to save Kimberly-Clark. He says this will put pressure on Republicans who don’t support the bill to pass it.
Kaufert says right now the four or five Republicans who won’t vote for this feel empowered. He says they’ll feel even more so in the new session and this will send them a message.
