The first student in the Promise program at Fox Valley Technical College graduated this past weekend.
Originally developed to help younger students get a college education the school’s promise program isn’t just for high school students anymore. This past spring the program was opened up to adults who are part of the school’s Adult Basic Education or ABE program.
Chris Jossart spokesperson for Fox Valley Tech explains why they expanded the program. He says this would be a great opportunity for someone who just finished high school to keep that momentum going.
Jossart says the 15 adults learners in the Promise program will likely graduate in 2020 or 2021.
