A 39-year-old Sheboygan County man’s conviction will stand, after he sent his ex-girlfriend threatening messages and a live python.
A state appeals court issued that ruling in the case against Eric Burrows of Elkhart Lake. He reached a plea deal in January, after he was charged with stalking, making threats, and defamation.
Prosecutors say Burrows sent a box to the woman’s apartment complex in August of last year, and there was a large snake inside. He didn’t believe authorities had probable cause to arrest him.
