Forecasters are predicting rain today and tomorrow and that could impact ice on area waterways including Lake Winnebago.
An expert says it’s not safe to walk on the ice.
Don Herman owns Sunk? Dive and Ice Service.
He advises people not to go out on the ice because it’s only about four to six inches thick and a good wind could break it open.
Herman says about a week or two of below zero temperatures will thicken ice and make it safe for vehicles.
