A government watchdog group says the National Rifle Association spent more than $870,000 campaigning against Democratic Governor-elect Tony Evers last year.
The Wisconsin Democracy Campaign says the NRA’s federal political action committee spent almost $70,000 supporting Republican Governor Walker. More than $12,000 went toward ads for Republican Attorney General Brad Schimel.
