The stock market declined last year for the first time since the Great Recession, and an analyst is expecting things to turn around in 2019.
Derek Felske is with Annex Wealth Management. He believes investors will see a seven to eight percent increase this year.
Felske blames a market correction for losses in 2018. He says the market grew faster than the economy for a five-year period before last year. He says gains in the economy outpaced the market in 2018.
Felske says energy and emerging markets are the two sectors that could have the best returns in 2019.
