Days before he leaves office, Governor Walker says he might be interested in running for office again, maybe even for governor in four years.
Walker says it’s likely that Republicans will want a “new face” for the governor’s race in 2022, but he added “who knows.” He says he’s not ruling anything out, including a run for U.S. Senate. Republican Sen. Ron Johnson of Oshkosh is up for re-election in 2022, and he says he won’t seek a third term.
Earlier this week, Walker said he’ll join the speaker circuit and work to re-elect President Trump in 2020.
