People will have a chance to weigh in today on the future of two pools in De Pere.
Officials have been talking about getting rid of either VFW or Legion Pool, and having one aquatic facility for the whole city.
A community group got together to save them both.
Today will be the first opportunity for the community to weigh in on what they would like to see at each facility.
Marty Kosobucki is the city’s parks and recreation director. He says people who can’t make today’s public hearing can take an online survey.
Today’s public input session will be held in the lower level of the De Pere Community Center. It starts at 6 p.m.
The online survey will be open until January 14th.
