There will be a truck procession on I-41 in Brown County this evening, to honor the tow truck driver killed Friday afternoon.
Thirty-one-year-old Jesse “Bil” Hettmann of Green Bay was helping a driver along the side of I-41 North. He was working near Oneida Street in Ashwaubenon, when he was hit by an Appleton man.
Organizer Becki Skulan says she initially thought they might have 20 trucks. She says about 400 are planning to join in.
Skulan says trucks will head north on I-41, at Scheuring Road in De Pere, around 7 p.m. They’ll turn around at Lombardi Avenue.
She says a GoFundMe account is set up, to help Hettmann’s wife and young daughters.
