A leader with the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce says their annual breakfast gives them an opportunity to brag.
Peter Thillman is the vice president of economic development. He says many people don’t know the chamber puts on major community events like the Bazaar After Dark night markets, and Octoberfest in downtown Appleton.
Thillman says in 2019, they’re going to focus on building the workforce, and revamping the Talent Upload program.
There will also be three Bazaar After Dark events this year. Thillman says they’ll be in Brillion for the first time this summer. The spring market will be in Little Chute, and they’re going to hold a combination event in Neenah and Menasha in the fall.
The chamber issued its annual report to the community this morning at the Grand Meridian on Appleton’s north side.
