It was a little slower for home sales in Wisconsin last year.
There was a 2.2 percent decline in closings, from a record-setting total in 2017.
David Clark is an economist for the Wisconsin Realtors Association. He says the totals were pretty similar over the past three years. He says a smaller number of homes on the market continues to be a factor.
The statewide median price rose seven percent to $184,000.
The market was similar in the northeast region. Sales were down 2-1/2 percent. The median price was up six percent to $156,000.
