Below-zero temps are expected to move in Thursday night and stay for the next couple of days.
Doctor Kyle McCarty works in the emergency room at Saint Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. He says the biggest issue is spending too much time in the cold. He says when a person’s core temperature drops, they may get confused and make decisions they wouldn’t usually make.
McCarty says some signs that you’re outside for too long include cold feet and hands and redness in the face. He says once that starts, you should go inside and change out of your cold clothes if you can.
