Green Bay schools are looking for more local businesses to partner with, to help students with developmental disabilities learn job skills.
Work Experience Coordinator Shane McDonough held a breakfast meeting for companies this morning to talk about the possibilities.
He says they recently had seven students working at Dorsch Ford in Green Bay. He says that led the car dealership to create a specific position, in the parts department, for students.
McDonough says it’s part of a new statewide initiative to connect students with disabilities with businesses.
