Two men are in custody after leading a Shawano County sheriff deputy on a nearly seven mile chase last night around 8:45 p.m.
Officials say it started on Highway 22 in Cecil after a deputy spotted a stolen vehicle drive by in a no passing zone near Highway 117.
A 27-year-old man from Birnamwood blew a stop sign and drove into a wooded area where he and his passenger, a 24-year-old Shawano man then ran.
The K- 9 unit helped track the two to a building that had been burglarized.
