A Waupaca County judge is ordering a trial for a 35-year-old Clintonville man accused of kidnapping a teenage girl.
Elijah Kerrigan is also accused of texting the girl’s mother, and demanding a $2,500 ransom. Prosecutors say he held the girl at a Clintonville motel earlier this month.
Kerrigan was in court last Friday for a preliminary hearing. He’s charged with 11 felonies, including sexual assault of a child and possessing child pornography.
Police say the girl’s family knew Kerrigan.
