Appleton, Oshkosh, and Green Bay all bottomed out at 26-below this morning, either breaking or tying their record-low for today’s date.
StormCenter 2 Chief Meteorologist Steve Beylon says Appleton’s record of 22-below, from 1996, fell.
Oshkosh matched a record of 26-below that dates back to 1918. Green Bay also tied a record that’s even older. It was also 26-below 120 years ago, in 1899.
