The state’s open enrollment period for schools starts today and the Appleton district has room at most schools.
Assistant Superintendent Polly Vanden Boogaard says there are a few closed schools. Those include Highlands, Houdini, and Huntley elementary schools for kindergarten through 6th grade.
Vanden Boogaard says the rest of the district is open expect for special education programs. She says those are closed for the 2019-2020 school year.
Open enrollment for the Appleton school district ends on April 30th.
