Construction is starting today on a bridge project in downtown Appleton.
City spokesman Chad Doran says they’re rebuilding part of a short bridge on South Oneida Street.
The schedule calls for the southbound side to reopen in mid-July. The new northbound side could be ready in the late fall.
Northbound drivers will be able to cross the Oneida Skyline Bridge and turn onto Prospect Avenue. Heading south they’ll have to turn at Lawrence Street.
