A 60-year-old Oshkosh man was killed in a crash on the city’s south side yesterday afternoon.
The man was driving on Washburn Street, along I-41, between Ripple Road and Fisk Avenue. Officer Kate Mann says he rear-ended a front loader around 5:30 p.m. She says his car flipped over onto the street.
The man was pronounced dead at a hospital. The driver of the front loader wasn’t hurt.
Mann says weather and alcohol do not appear to be factors.
