The Broadway musical version of “The Lion King” is back in downtown Appleton for a third time.
The show will be at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center for a three-week run. Tonight is opening night.
It’s been six years since “The Lion King” played at the PAC. Spokeswoman Trisha Witt says they also hosted the musical’s “Wisconsin premiere” in 2007. She says people can still some of the decorated lions that were placed around the Fox Cities as part of the celebration of the premiere.
There will be 23 performances, through February 24th.
