It’s been a busy couple of weeks for snowplow drivers, and people don’t shy away from speaking up about how they’re doing in Appleton.
City spokesman Chad Doran says they get phone calls, letters, emails, and see social media posts. Some are positive, and some aren’t.
Doran believes the plow drivers really care, and they work hard. He says they have to cover about 800 lane miles when they plow every street.
Depending on the size of a snowfall, the city might not plow every city street. For the bigger ones, they do.
