GO Transit is trying to build ridership on a route that runs between Oshkosh and Neenah.
Jim Collins is Oshkosh’s Transportation Director. He says it’s the one way someone without a vehicle could connect to the rest of the valley through public transportation.
The route runs between the transit centers in the downtowns of Oshkosh and Neenah. There are several stops along the way including on the UW Oshkosh campus.
Collins says many of their riders are university students and staff. The fare is $3.00 each way. That’s double GO Transit’s regular $1.50 fare.
