As snow piles up city and county officials have to decide where to put it all.
Green Bay street superintendent Tony Fietzer has a couple of different sites they can drop off excess snow that’s already been plowed off streets.
He says they pick spots that won’t flood anyone if there’s a quick thaw.
Feitzer says some snow is hauled to Leicht Park. The city also uses the Metro Boat Launch and if crews are really desperate for room they haul it to the yard waste site on the northwest side of the city.
