Thirteen-year-old Jayme Closs is thanking supporters from around the world.
She released a statement with her family, expressing their “deepest gratitude for the incredible gifts and generous donations” that she’s received. They say the many kind words to Jayme “have been a source of great comfort to her.”
Prosecutors say Closs was kidnapped by 21-year-old Jake Patterson last October. Patterson is accused of holding her for 88 days, before she escaped. He’s also charged with killing her parents when he abducted her.
