Fox Cities business owners are bullish about 2019.
The Chamber of Commerce annual survey finds 60 percent expect increased sales this year, and 50 percent anticipate higher profits.
Economist Elliott Eisenberg says fears of a recession should stay at bay, until 2020 at the earliest. He says expectations for this year were similar to 2017, but lower than 2018.
The survey also found 45 percent of Fox Cities business owners believe they’ll continue to struggle to find enough skilled workers this year.
