Consultants recommend up to $13-million worth of renovations to Oshkosh city hall.
FGM Architecture has come up with three options for the nearly 100-year old building and Paul Lazecki says all of those call for preserving the structure. He says it would be fiscally irresponsible to build a similar building nowadays.
FGM’s first option calls for construction of a three thousand square foot addition to the to front of Oshkosh city hall and decreasing the space dedicated to hallways and stairwells on all four levels. City hall was built in 1916 as Oshkosh high school.
