Prosecutors are charging a Neenah man for a standoff last Thursday.
Thirty-three-year-old Daniel Maher was in Winnebago County court this afternoon, on counts of threatening police and disorderly conduct.
Maher is a corrections sergeant at the state’s Oshkosh prison. He’s currently on leave, without pay.
Prosecutors believe Maher was drunk and he threatened to kill his girlfriend, along with a Neenah officer. He surrendered several hours after police went to his home on Quarry Lane on the east side.
