Oshkosh may be the next city to ban vaping by minors.
Officials are working on a proposal that would block stores from selling any e-cigarette materials to kids.
Mayor Steve Cummings believes teens are doing irreparable damage to their bodies. He says he’s heard about the impacts to the vocal cords of young people.
Oshkosh is modeling its vaping proposal after one approved last year in Neenah. It bans the sale of e-liquids that do not contain nicotine or tobacco.
Oshkosh’s council could take up the proposal sometime this year.
