A recent survey shows many companies around northeast Wisconsin are concerned about their future because of a lack of qualified job applicants.
St. Norbert College’s Strategic Research Institute found 75 percent in the New North are having moderate or major problems finding workers. When he looks at future demographics, Institute Director Jamie Lynch thinks the situation will only get worse.
Lynch thinks companies will need to invest in innovation, technology and people, instead of just focusing on people.
St. Norbert College hosted business leaders this morning for in-depth talks about the survey results.
