A former bank along College Avenue in downtown Appleton could be redeveloped.
Lawrence University bought the old North Shore Bank building several years ago, but it’s remained empty.
Appleton Community Development Director Karen Harkness says the university is working with a developer on a possible mixed-use project. She expects to have more details next week, when the Appleton Redevelopment Authority is holding a special meeting.
The North Shore Bank location closed in 2011.
