There are plans to develop an area along I-43 in Denmark.
Village President Gregory Mleziva says the Business Development Corridor is south of Highway KB, and east of I-43. About 120 acres are available.
He says a Kwik Trip will be the first project, and construction will start in the spring. Salm Partners is planning to expand to a 33-acre site just to the south.
Mleziva says they’re working on a possible hotel project for next year, and there’s other interest.
Brown County will build a roundabout on Highway KB this spring.
