Fond du Lac police are investigating a shooting on the west side.
They were called to the area of Division Street and Lincoln Avenue around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday. A 25-year-old man was shot in the leg, and he was taken to a hospital. The wound is not life-threatening.
Police say the suspect took off. He’s described as a white man, and he was wearing a dark, multi-colored jacket. He may have left in a light-colored SUV.
Investigators believe it was not a random incident.
