A pizza company in Kaukauna continues to grow.
Mayor Tony Penterman says he was at Bernatello’s Pizza several months ago. He says they just expanded over the summer and are now expanding again. He says that’s good news for the city.
The latest addition will be a lot bigger with a cost of $24 million. The company expects to create 48 jobs over the next three years.
Bernatello’s makes frozen pizzas under the names Brew Pub, Orv’s, and Roma. The facility is in the city’s industrial park off I-41 by the Highway 55 exit.
Penterman says they’re using the lower electricity rates in the city as a selling point to other companies. A hydroelectric plant produces a lot of the power for Kaukauna Utilities.
