Appleton police are now calling the death of a 60-year-old woman a homicide.
Lee Ann Dorn was found dead last Friday morning at an apartment on Valley Road.
Officer Meghan Cash says they based their ruling on the results of an autopsy.
Dorn’s vehicle was found in Kentucky, and the man driving it was arrested for driving drunk. He’s still in custody in Kentucky on a probation hold, and police are working to bring him back to Wisconsin.
Police were able to bring the vehicle to Wisconsin, and investigators are processing it for possible evidence.
Cash says the man had a close relationship with Dorn, but they’re not releasing any more details, including how she died.
