The Old Glory Honor Flight group touring Vietnam spent their last day in the southern part of the country.
The veterans were aboard small, low boats that made their way along canals on the Mekong Delta. It’s a spot where several of the veterans served and fought.
Keith Johnson’s older brother served there and fell in love with the area. He’s since passed and Keith brought some of his brother’s ashes to spread.
Despite suffering malaria three times and getting wounded, Bill Radtke of Appleton is grateful he made it out of the Mekong Delta.

He says after another emotional day they’re heading north on a flight to Danang which is in the middle part of the country.
