Some Republican lawmakers are speaking out against Governor Evers’ proposed budget.
Republican Senator Alberta Darling of River Hill says it’s not really a people’s budget. She says she hopes Evers will sit down with Republicans to find some middle ground.
Darling says Republicans will prepare their own two-year budget. Evers says he might veto it if it doesn’t cover what he wants it to.
