Part of a remodeled hotel in downtown Fond du Lac is open again.
Three years after the Hotel Retlaw closed, guests can now use the restaurant, lobby, and ballroom.
Principal Partner Dennis Doucette thinks the renovations make the property even better than it was in its heyday. He plans to have corporate and business travelers during the week and a social scene on the weekend.
Right now only the first three floors of the hotel are done. Crews are still working on the guest rooms. Owners hope to open them in April.
