The attached garage of a home on the east side of Omro is a complete loss after a fire last night.
Omro-Rushford fire chief Jay Treleven describes the home with heavy damage.
He says they were called to the 4100 block of Alida Lane just after 10 p.m. and found the two story home fully engulfed in fire. .
The home is just east of Algoma, off Sandpit Road.
He says the people living there got out safely.
The chief though it was too dark last night to search the scene for a cause so they’re heading back today.
